Birth by Design

My name is Celeste Esau, I am a Mom of three, and a former Labour and Delivery Nurse. My firstborn was born vaginally breech in hospital, my second baby was an unmedicated hospital birth, and my third baby was a homebirth. I believe that birth is a normal, natural and healthy process. I am passionate about helping parents prepare for one of the most important days of their lives; giving birth. After having my firstborn, and experiencing labour and birth with all the knowledge that I had surrounding it, I couldn’t imagine not knowing anything about birth. Since then, I have learned so much about birth and am still learning. This is why I feel compelled to educate and empower other woman about childbirth so that they can feel confident and have an experience that they will look fondly on for the rest of their lives. I want every mama to have confidence in her ability to give birth, to be able to make informed decisions, and have a satisfying birth experience.
